Advanced Commercial Package Background

Advanced Commercial Participation Package

The Advanced Commercial Participation Package is designed for established business operators who have a proven business model and want to operate within the PTB Contract Exchange framework.

It supports scalable participation arrangements where infrastructure and advertiser participation terms are negotiated rather than fixed.

This package is intended for operators who already understand operating costs and revenue mechanics and want a structured framework for transparent participation. It remains industry-neutral and is available across Canada.

Who This Package Is For

This package is intended for established operators with operational history, stable execution, and a proven commercial model.

It is appropriate when a fixed baseline structure is too limited for the scale or complexity of the business.

Suitable Business Profiles

This package fits companies that already generate consistent revenue, have defined service delivery capacity, and can support documented participation terms.

It is also suitable for operators expanding into new regions, adding service lines, or scaling advertising activity while maintaining accountability.

If you are still evaluating basic readiness and minimum cost sensitivity, the baseline structure is outlined in Basic Commercial Participation Package.

REQUIREMENTS

Separate Incorporated Operating Company Required

Participation within the framework applies at the corporate level rather than to an individual. For this reason, incorporation is mandatory under the Advanced Commercial Participation Package.

Mandatory Corporate Structure

Operators may use an existing incorporated entity where structural alignment is suitable, or incorporate a separate operating company where separation is required.

The purpose of incorporation is to isolate governance authority, participation documentation, and revenue recording within a defined operating entity.

Corporate governance mechanics applicable to participation are detailed in Business Structure Framework. Structural clarity is required before any negotiated terms are documented.

COSTS

Negotiated Infrastructure Cost

The infrastructure cost under this package is negotiated directly with the advertising participant. The amount depends on operational requirements, technical scope, and the level of infrastructure required for commercial execution.

Variable Scope and Cost Drivers

Infrastructure may include web platform scope, communication routing, tracking structure, administrative tooling, and other foundational components required for consistent operation.

Cost is defined through documented agreement and may vary over time if infrastructure requirements change.

The process used to implement and document participation is aligned with How It Works. Infrastructure terms are documented before operational commencement.

Negotiated Advertiser Participation Percentage

Advertiser participation is negotiated directly with the advertising participant under this package. The participation percentage is documented formally and applied at the operating company level as structured within the agreement.

Documented Participation Mechanics

Participation may be structured through equity-based participation, contractual compensation, or a combination depending on what the parties approve and document.

The participation mechanics must be structured in a way that supports clear visibility of revenue entry points and distribution execution.

Revenue recording and distribution visibility are aligned with Revenue Transparency Platform. Participation is calculated and documented under the terms defined for the incorporated operating company.

Evaluation and Matching

Entry into the Advanced Commercial Participation Package requires internal evaluation of the proposed business model. Matching with an advertising participant occurs only where structural alignment and commercial viability support negotiated participation terms.

Established Model Requirement

This package is designed for operators with proven execution rather than early experimentation.

Evaluation focuses on operational readiness, service reliability, and the ability to sustain formal documentation and negotiated participation obligations.

If a match is available, parties proceed under documented terms prior to launch. Advertiser participation roles are described in Advertising Partnership Canada.

Canada-Wide Applicability

The Advanced Commercial Participation Package may be implemented for incorporated operating companies anywhere in Canada. Geographic coverage and operational scope remain determined by the operating company’s governance decisions.

Operational Independence

The incorporated operating company remains the contracting entity with customers and remains responsible for service execution. PTB Contract Exchange provides documentation alignment and structured participation support within the framework.
